North Lakes Academy Board
The board is composed of nine teachers, parents, and local community members, and establishes the long-term vision for our school and has final governing authority over all financial and other business affairs of NLA.
The Board also ensures that our school is acting in accordance with state law and the wishes of our authorizer, Audubon Center of the North Woods

The NLA School Board's Election Committee is currently seeking qualified applicants to run to serve a 2-year term as a member of the North Lakes Academy School Board.

All applications are due by Friday, March 6th and must be submitted electronically through this process.
The six positions available this election cycle include:
- Three seats for NLA Teacher Members
- One seat for an NLA Parent Member
- One seat for an unaffiliated Community Member
- One seat for an NLA Parent OR unaffiliated Community Member
Polls will be open from Monday, March 16th through Tuesday, March 31st, the night of Spring conferences. All balloting will also occur digitally online and all eligible voters will be provided a token with which they will be able to cast their vote. More information will be distributed on that process when the polls are opened.
