
K-12 Campus Office Manager

Position: Full-Time (220 Contract Days)
Start Date: July 1, 2026
Compensation: $22.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
About North Lakes Academy
North Lakes Academy is a public charter school serving approximately 400 students on a single K–12 campus in Forest Lake, Minnesota. Position Summary
North Lakes Academy is seeking an organized, dependable, and service-oriented Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of the school's main office. As the first point of contact for students, families, staff, and visitors, this position plays an essential role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment while providing administrative support to school leadership and ensuring the smooth operation of the front office.
Essential Responsibilities
Responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering phones and emails, managing attendance and student records, supporting enrollment and withdrawal processes, coordinating substitute teacher coverage, assisting with student health office services under the direction of the licensed school nurse, providing administrative support to school leadership, coordinating school events, maintaining confidential records, assisting with meal service operations, ordering office supplies, and completing other administrative duties that support the daily operation of the school.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and student information systems such as PowerSchool is preferred. Previous experience in a school office, administrative support, or office management role is strongly preferred. A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
