Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
Position Type: School-Year Position

North Lakes Academy is seeking a dependable, organized, and student-focused Food Service Team Member to join our school community. This position plays an important role in ensuring students have access to nutritious meals in a clean, welcoming environment.

Position Responsibilities

Food Service Operations

  • Receive and organize daily meal deliveries

  • Prepare and serve breakfast and lunch

  • Maintain accurate meal counts and records

  • Ensure compliance with meal program requirements

Record Keeping & Compliance

  • Complete required food service documentation

  • Maintain food safety and temperature logs

  • Follow school nutrition and food safety guidelines

​

Inventory & Organization

  • Monitor food and supply inventory

  • Communicate inventory needs with vendors

  • Keep storage and serving areas organized

​

Cleanliness & Safety

  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and serving area

  • Follow food handling and hygiene procedures

  • Support a positive dining experience for students

​

Student & Staff Support

  • Build positive relationships with students

  • Promote a welcoming cafeteria environment

  • Work collaboratively with school staff

​

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Food service experience preferred

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Dependable and self-motivated

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods

  • Positive attitude and willingness to support the team
