North Lakes Academy (NLA) desires a part time custodian to work approximately 10 hours a week, 5 days a week/2 hours a day, school year-only to clean one of our school buildings. NLA has newer facilities that are easy to clean, and are home to respectful staff and students. A second custodian will assist with cleaning this building. The school orders the supplies. The hours are flexible but some evenings are required for set up and clean up for sports and other events. We offer excellent colleagues and a culture of community and belonging in our work environment. $20/hour.

North Lakes Academy (NLA) is a K-12 charter school located in Forest Lake, Minnesota, a community about 25 miles north of the Twin Cities metropolitan area. The school was organized by a group of Forest Lake area parents and teachers seeking an alternative to the large junior high schools available to the children in the community. NLA was chartered in the spring of 1999 and opened for operation that fall. In 2009, we expanded to include grades 9-12, and grew again in 2019 when we opened a new facility to add grades K-4.

 

Currently, we operate an elementary campus (grades K-6) and a secondary campus (grades 7-12) both in Forest Lake, serving a total of 550 students. At all grade levels, we embrace the principles of small class sizes, personalized learning, and a diverse liberal arts education, which includes fostering the emotional intelligence of our students and building strong relationships between families, staff, and students.
