BOARD BIOS

JESS KLIMA

Jess Klima has spent the past three years working with the NLA community, gaining valuable experience in supporting student growth and development. As a teacher, she is committed to fostering an environment where students can reach their full potential and understand their intrinsic worth, a core value at NLA.

ALLISON TUCKER

Allison Tucker is a Social Studies Teacher and National Honor Society Advisor with experience in both charter and large traditional school districts. Her diverse background gives her a unique perspective on what makes NLA special. She is committed to helping NLA grow into a place where all students can take ownership of their learning and thrive as individuals.

MORGAN BORCK

Morgan Borck, Mathematics Teacher at North Lakes Academy, has an inside perspective on the day-to-day functions of the school. With a deep commitment to fostering an environment that supports both teachers and students, Morgan is dedicated to ensuring that policies and resources are in place to help everyone achieve educational excellence.

LYNDA WILLIAMS-NELSON

Lynda Williams Nelson is a Special Education Teacher with experience across primary, secondary, and higher education settings. Her broad range of knowledge and commitment to continued professional development ensure she can provide students with the most current strategies and support systems. Lynda is dedicated to offering the best possible service to all students.

MITCHELL HOULE

Mitch Houle is a Language Arts Teacher and Basketball Coach at North Lakes Academy, with 13 years of experience in education and 8 years coaching high school sports. His background gives him a unique perspective on both the school and the student-athletes who choose NLA. Mitch is passionate about education and committed to providing students with opportunities to succeed.

DOUG HINE

Doug Hine is a Sr. Distinguished Engineer at Medtronic with extensive experience managing large budgets, complex programs, and multiple departments. As the father of two NLA students—Dakoda, a 2023 graduate now attending UNW, and Kaden, a current senior—Doug is deeply committed to creating a safe, supportive school environment. He believes in providing more than just an education, emphasizing personal growth, strong relationships, communication skills, and emotional intelligence to help students succeed in their future endeavors.

MATT MOLITOR

Matthew Molitor is a Sales Manager at Aerotek Staffing Firm with over 20 years of experience in recruiting, sales meetings, and networking. Skilled in problem-solving, feedback, and relationship-building, he is passionate about helping others succeed in their careers. Outside of work, Matthew is an active father of four at North Lakes Academy and a volunteer sports coach, fostering responsibility, character, and personal growth in students. Holding a marketing degree, he applies his knowledge to support both the academy's success and the future of its students through mentorship and leadership.

CHRIS DALE

Christopher Dale is the Lead Application Support Specialist at RBC Wealth Management, with extensive experience in project management within the finance industry. As a parent of three NLA graduates, his unique perspective combines professional expertise with a deep understanding of NLA's history and future potential. Christopher is committed to ensuring NLA continues to thrive for the next 25 years.

ABBIE RASMUSSON

Abbie Rasmusson currently works full-time as a Software Coordinator at Cummins Inc. In addition to her professional role, she is actively involved in her family business, Rasmusson Services LLC. Abbie has a daughter in sixth grade and a son in ninth grade at NLA. She is a dedicated member of her community and a passionate advocate for children's education. Abbie strongly believes in the value of a small-school environment, where students receive personalized attention and can thrive. She is committed to building strong relationships within the community to ensure that schools have the resources and support they need to succeed.

CECELIA DODGE

Cecelia Dodge has been the Executive Director of NLA since October 2023. Ms. Dodge is adept at school district administration, special education administration, and stakeholder engagement within diverse school cultures. A successful change-manager, she collaborates to build a deep understanding of the what, why, and how of evidence-based practices. She has served in other school leadership roles including  Interim Executive Director of Math and Science Academy, Assistant Superintendent for San Francisco Unified Schools, and Director of Special Education for Saint Paul Public Schools. Previous private sector roles include Project Director at WestEd and independent consultant. In these roles she assisted school districts and state educational agencies with meeting their goals through program evaluation, technical assistance, strategic planning, executive coaching, instructional coaching, and professional development.
