North Lakes Academy Speech Club

Speech club is a winter extra-curricular activity offered to students in 7th, 8th, and 9th grades.  Each student selects a category in which they wish to compete for the season.  Some categories that students may choose include: serious prose and poetry, humerous pose and poetry, duet acting, drama, informative speaking, story telling, great speeches, and creative expression.

Speech club meets on Mondays and Thursdays for practice and meets.  The season starts in November and concludes with a multi-school tournament in mid-February.  The season concludes with an evening performance by speech members for parents, families, and friends.
