North Lakes Academy Ski Club

NLA Ski & Boarding Club is a great way to have fun, enjoy winter, and make new friends in a reasonably safe, non-competitive atmosphere. It is run completely by parent volunteers. Contact the coordinators if you are interested in volunteering.  

Ski Club meets on Fridays after school to ski and board at Wild Mountain Ski Area in Taylors Falls, MN. The club meets about 14 times each season, depending on the weather. Bus, equipment transportation, and chaperones are provided. Three different package options are listed below. Prices will be available in the fall.

10+ (unlimited Ski Club Friday nights)

5 times (any 5 Ski Club Friday nights)

Guest (any Friday, purchase each time)

Ski club also has optional fund raising opportunities and additional trips to other ski areas. The club has taken trips to Afton Alps, Indian Head, Lutsen and Giant’s Ridge.

Ski Club is a volunteer parent-run program. Volunteers and chaperones are always welcome, and appreciated. Chaperones do not pay bus fees. Great lessons for any ability are available for $5. Plus, lift tickets and rental equipment may be available at no cost. Otherwise, your cost is only a $16 lift ticket plus your rental fees. Please call the coordinator if you have any questions. Please do not call the school office with questions about Ski Club. They will refer you to the Coordinator.
