North Lakes Academy Middle School in Forest Lake is currently looking to hire a long term substitute Art instructor. This position involves direct art instruction to students in 5th - 8th grade. The start date for this position is immediately and will last through April 5th with the potential for the remainder of the school year.
Salary - Per the teacher wage agreement

Special Education Paraprofessional
North Lakes Academy middle school, a growing charter school in Forest Lake is currently looking to hire a special education paraprofessional. The role of the paraprofessional is to provide additional support in the North Lakes Academy Middle School classrooms where middle school children with pre-diagnosed disabilities are enrolled. The paraprofessional's goal is to assist in providing a well-organized, smooth functioning classroom environment in which all children can take full advantage of the instructional program and available resource materials.

* High School Diploma or Equivalence Certificate.
* 2 Letters of recommendation

* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Experience with children preferred.
* Cooperates successfully as a member of a team.
* Communicates effectively with others, including giving and receiving feedback on the quality of services.
* Meet any specific content area requirements.
* Participate in any paraprofessional training and any other training deemed necessary by the agency. It is also important to bring back and share information presented at such meetings.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality.
* Effective oral and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with staff, consultants, and other representatives in a team-oriented environment.
* Detail oriented, logical, and methodological approach to problem solving.
* Flexible, with the ability to work in a middle school system.
* Proficiency using word-processing system.
This is an hourly position and is eligible for benefits.
Rate of pay - $11.00/hr

Substitute Teachers
North Lakes Academy is looking for qualified substitute teachers to sub in all subject areas on an on call basis throughout the school year.
All applicants should have a valid Minnesota State Education license.
