Special Education Teacher
Candidate will be case manager for students who are primarily main streamed.  Teacher will work with general education teachers to monitor student progress, ensure compliance with IEP, and to co-develop modifications and or accommodations.

SLD required, EBD preferred. 

Secondary Math Teacher
NLA is currently hiring a full time Secondary Math teacher to teach Algebra, Algebra II and Geometry to 9th and 10th grade students.  The teacher will work on curriculum development, deliver instruction, and assess student progress.  In addition, the teacher will take part in staff meetings, house meetings and curriculum meetings.

Secondary English Teacher
NLA is currently hiring a full time  English teacher to teach students in grades 8 – 10.  The teacher will work on curriculum development, deliver instruction, and assess student progress.  In addition, the teacher will take part in staff meetings, house meetings and curriculum meetings.

Spanish Teacher Grades 5-8
NLA is currently hiring a full time Spanish teacher to teach students in grades 5-8.  The teacher will work on curriculum development, deliver instruction, and assess student progress.  In addition, the teacher will take part in staff meetings, house meetings and curriculum meetings.

5th and 6th Grade Classroom Teachers
NLA is currently hiring 5th and 6th grade teachers.  The teachers will work on curriculum development, deliver instruction in core subject areas, and assess student progress.  In addition, the teachers will take part in staff meetings, house meetings and curriculum meetings.   Applicants should be innovative, dedicated, and flexible. 

PE Instructor Grades 5-10 - 80% PE 20% Administrative Duties
NLA is currently hiring a full time instructor to teach 80% PE and 20% administrative duties.  The teacher will work on curriculum development, deliver instruction, and assess student progress.  In addition, the teacher will take part in staff meetings, house meetings and curriculum meetings.  Administrative duties will be assigned to supplement the  school life program.

.5 FTE Vocal Instructor Grades 7-10
NLA is currently hiring a .5 FTE vocal music instructor for grades 7 – 10. The teacher will work on curriculum development, deliver instruction, and assess student progress. In addition, the teacher will take part in staff meetings, house meetings and curriculum meetings as outlined in job description.
