How do I contact the school?
What are the school hours?
7:50 a.m. - 2:10 p.m.
Teachers may be contacted by phone during the following times on a daily basis:
7:30 a.m. - 7:50 a.m.
2:15 p.m. - 2:45 p.m.
Is there bus transportation?
Bus transportation is provided by District 831 as long as the student lives
within District 831's boundaries. Please contact the bus garage directly at (651) 982-8090
for detailed information.
What about a library?
North Lakes Academy works
in cooperation with the Forest Lake Public Library (within walking distance from
the school) to supplement the necessary resources for our students in addition to our own resources available onsite.
What lunch services are available?
NLA serves hot lunch every school day.
Hot lunches cost $2.75 each, with one carton of milk included. Milk is sold
everyday for $0.35 per half pint.

What is North Lakes Academy's visitors policy?
Adult visitors are welcome at North Lakes Academy except during mandated testing periods.
All visitors are asked to sign in at the office upon entering the building, and sign out before leaving. Please see NLA's current Policy Handbook for information regarding student visitors.
