School Board
The board of directors is responsible for the policy making, financial oversight, and overall governance of the school. Elections for the NLA school board are held before December 1 of each year, usually in conjunction with fall conferences. Nominations for board positions are open a month prior to the election day. Parents and community members are encouraged to participate in this important aspect of public school operation. By law, a majority of the NLA board must be comprised of teachers.
